As Jake said, we will continue to create the XML files.  There is no
reason not to.

We feel that the database exports are easier to use for new endeavors,
particularly when combined with our API, but if you already parse the
XML, continue doing so -- it isn't going anywhere.  Our scripts to
parse the XML are defunct though.  If someone would like to contribute
scripts that actually work for parsing the XML, by all means!
